The Software Bisque Paramount ME is an outstanding mount.  Periodic error for these mounts are guaranteed to be less than 5 asec peak-to-peak.  Mine is 1.8 asec.  While typically considered a mount for the amateur observatory, I have found it can be used in a semi-portable application.  Polar alignment with T-Point can be accomplished in less than 30 minutes with a miss-alignment error of less than 1 arc minute for each axis.  While there are several outstanding portable piers, I chose the Astro-Physics 10" diameter x 32" high portable pier.   The AP pier allowed me to use JMI's Wheelie Bars that are specially made for AP piers.  These Wheelie Bars have holders designed to securely capture the feet of the AP pier.
